Talbot Paramedic Foundation celebrates 30 years of service year! In honor of this amazing accomplishment, the County Council of Talbot County presented TPF with a Certificate of Recognition outlining their community contributions. A huge thank you to County Council members Jennifer L. Williams, President, Corey W. Pack, Vice President, Dirck K. Bartlett, Chuck F. Callahan, and Laura E. Price.

30th Anniversary
WHEREAS, Talbot County Emergency Services, as it is known today, began with a core group of volunteers in 1985 who were committed to providing advanced medical care in Talbot County, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, as progression of providing advanced life support, in 1988, a group of local citizens holding a strong belief and commitment to providing a higher level of emergency care for Talbot County citizens formed the non-profit Talbot County Paramedics Foundation, Inc. which is known in our community as the Talbot Paramedic Foundation; and
WHEREAS, through the efforts of the Talbot Paramedic Foundation, two important initiatives were created: Operation Safe home, which provided an emergency information packet to each Talbot County residence and Operation Save Heart, the first countywide public access Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Program; and
WHEREAS, the Talbot Paramedic Foundation continues to play a critical role in supporting advanced life support by providing financial support to the Talbot County Department of Emergency Services for equipment needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF TALBOT COUNTY, do hereby award this Certificate of Recognition to the Talbot Paramedic Foundation for their outstanding service, contributions to the citizens and dedication to emergency care for the benefit of all and offer our most sincere gratitude and thanks for their efforts.
