EMS Clinician Justin Leary ECG (Exceptionally Caring and Generous) Award EMS Clincians Justin Leary & Alex Jewer were presented the ECG Award (Exceptionally Caring and Generous Award) for a call of service they responded to. Once they arrived and checked patient care, they realized there was an issue with the patient’s electricity and air conditioning units. Both assisted in finding a resolution to the ongoing problem and worked together to help the elderly patient. Both of them went above and beyond on this call and made a significant difference.

Josh Willis- Dispatcher of the Quarter Award Communication Specialist Josh Willis received Dispatcher of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter. He was nominated by his peers for his dedication to the job, and good customer service. Josh has a true passion for his job and is always willing to go the extra mile whether it is working additional shifts or coming in early or staying late.
Kelly Jones ECG (Exceptionally Caring and Generous) Award Kelly Jones was nominated for this award for numerous reasons. Kelly shows his caring nature routinely on shifts. He always steps up when items need to be taken care of. He not only identifies issues but always offers to be part of the solution. I consider Kelly an exceptional employee for his direct patient care/skills, as well as his general station duties. Jen Andrews- EMS Clinician of the Quarter Award Captain Jen Andrews was nominated for always going above and beyond to make her coworkers feel valued. She will give kudos where they are deserving and correction if needed in a professional manner. She is constantly moving throughout the day working to get her assignments done. She will lend a hand in patient care whenever on a scene if it is necessary whether she is in a command unit or not. She also will keep her coworkers in mind seeing where she can make our jobs easier on us. She is always professional and courteous even in the mist of chaos and or disruption of any sort. As a leader she genuinely cares about her people.
Crescencio Ramirez- Beyond the Call Award Communication Specialist Ramirez was recognized for a 911 call he received from a young child. Through calming techniques, he was able to obtain all information needed to dispatch appropriate units to the scene of the house in a quickly and timely manner where every minute counts. Dispatcher Ramirez went above and beyond to make a difference.
Training Lieutenant Jessica Wolfe was recognized by the Talbot County Council for her Trainer of the Year Awards from the State of Maryland as well as the Eastern Shore APCO Association.
